Board Member

Brian is a Senior Manager of Products and Services at Evergy.  He is a firm believer in the Company’s higher purpose “to improve the lives in the communities we serve” as the leader of the group bringing a portfolio of demand side programs to all customers.  He was a key driver in the expansion of Evergy’s DSM programs in Missouri in 2014 and then again 2016 and 2019.  His involvement also reaches to the effort to increase demand side investment in Kansas with expanded territory of both former KCP&L and Westar utilities.  His journey at Evergy has always been around interacting with customers in roles such as product management, key account consulting and economic development project work.  Brian previously worked in the petrochemical industry for Chevron Phillips Chemical Co in marketing and technical sales.  He holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the Univ of Kansas and in 2019 an MBA from Univ of Missouri-Kansas City and has attained Certified Energy Manager accreditation.
