Shawn White is the Manager of DSM Strategy and Financial Operations for Xcel Energy. He is tasked with ensuring the long-term viability of Xcel Energy's nationally recognized DSM portfolio and the regulatory compact it operates in. In this role Shawn has testified before various commissions on the value of DSM and the expected changes this industry will need to address. He has been with Xcel Energy for 15 years and has been responsible for the implementation of energy efficiency programs, managing the Energy Efficiency implementation team for Xcel Energy's Colorado territory before taking on his current role. Shawn graduated from Hawaii Pacific University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing in 1998 and from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Business with a Master’s degree in Strategic Management in 2004. He is also a graduate of the United States Navy’s Nuclear Power Program.
