Marketing Associate

Colleen Otte is Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance’s Marketing Associate. In this role, Colleen curates creative content intended to invite forward-thinking conversation to realize the economic and environmental benefits of energy efficiency. She maintains MEEA’s external presence and promotes the missions of its members.

Prior to joining MEEA, Colleen championed social media and content marketing efforts at the Alliance for the Great Lakes, National Park Service and U.S. Forest Service. She earned her master’s in Environmental, Science & Health Journalism from Michigan State University, with a minor in sustainability studies and specializations in design and visual communication. When she’s not touting conscious causes? You can find Colleen strolling the streets of Chicago, camera in tow, capturing urban shots—or hiking her Northern Michigan hometown for a change of pace in nature photography.
