Building Policy Associate

Corie Anderson is a Building Policy Associate at MEEA. In this role, Corie is responsible for tracking and supporting energy code adoption efforts across our 13-state region. She also tracks energy code compliance and coordinates efforts for the energy code support programs in Missouri and Nebraska. In addition, Corie leads the planning of MEEA’s Annual Midwest Building Energy Codes Conference.

Previously, Corie worked as a Marketing and Communications Coordinator at Marillac St. Vincent Family Services and interned with the Delta Institute and the Industrial Council of Nearwest Chicago. Corie holds a Master’s in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago, with a concentration in Environmental Planning and Policy. She is also an accredited LEED Green Associate. In her spare time, Corie enjoys cooking, playing basketball and hanging out with her cat Otter.
