Policy Associate

Samarth is a Policy Associate on MEEA's Policy Team and is responsible for tracking policy & regulatory developments, coordinating outreach events and producing resources focused on Iowa, Missouri, Kansas and North and South Dakota. He also focuses on issues of equity in policy, programs and the workforce. 

Prior to joining MEEA, Samarth held policy and research positions with the City of Atlanta and Atlanta Food & Farm where he worked to enhance Atlanta's programs in climate & renewables, energy efficiency and green infrastructure through emissions reporting, program development and coordination of regional expertise. 

Samarth holds a B.S. in Environmental Sciences and a minor in Sustainability from Emory University.
